Description: Oncorhynchus mykiss is easily distinguished from all other fishes within its range in sri lanka by its having jaw teeth. It is an elongate, moderately compressed fish, grey dorsally and silvery on the sides. There is a faint pink stripe on each side. The entire body is spotted.
Size: Upto 50cm or more
Habitat: Hortain plains water streams
Breeding: egg leyers
