Description: The dorsal surface is olive, the side silvery and the ventral side white. There is a blotch on the caudal peduncle and a faint, oblique bar on the dorsal fin.
Size: Upto 8cm
Habitat: Large rivers,Deep tanks , wet zone reservoirs
Breeding: like barbs.
