Description : This fish has pair of maxillary barbels.Dorsally
greyish and upper part is luminescence blue and golden strip presence on body
front to back. Adult male have reddish color and females are not much colorful.
Size : Up to about 10cm. commonly 6-7cm
Habitat : Prefers highly shallow water bodies
Breeding : Behavior not observed
Status : Endemic. Common.
