Description : This fish has two pairs of barbels,of which only one pair is easily visible.The dorsal surface is a greenish brown , the sides being light brown with silver / golden reflection. There is dark spot on the caudal peduncle.
Size : Up to about 30 - 35 cm.
Habitat : These fish are found rocky, fast flowing water bodies.
