Size : Normally 5 - 6cm long. sometimes found 12cm long.
Habitat : Found in island wide with shallow water bodies and tanks. Prefer rapid flowing streams.
Breeding : They spawn eggs in shallow water containing plants and roots of trees
Status : common.
