Description : Dawkinsia srilankensis, the Blotched filamented barb, is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Dawkinsia. It is found in Sri Lanka. Blotched filamented barb isdorsally green and sides are silver in colour. This fish has three black blotches on body.Male fish is very colorful than female. Male has redish color filaments.
Size : Thish fish grows up to 10 cm long.
Breeding : This fish laying egg's.
Habitat : Prefer rapid flowing water bodieswith some rocks / pebels.
Status : Endemic. Very rare t find. Endangered.
